Social Catalogues – Slides in a more compatible format

In my last blog post, I uploaded the Powerpoint slides in the .pptx format, which opens easily only if you have the latest Office 2007 package.  So, I’m posting them here in the 1997-2003 format for all to access.

  1. Thank you for the new file versions. As a matter of general interest, for the last several releases (i.e., many years), Microsoft has made it easy for older Office programs to read newer formats. Search for “office compatibility pack” to get the tool to install. It looks as though versions back to Office 2000 can read Office 2007 formats with few restrictions.

With the tool installed, I had no difficulty opening the 2007 versions of your (very interesting!) presentations in PowerPoint 2003.
